BW Adventure with Friends

My friends Josh, Marci, and Angie and my sister Emily all generously came up to travel with me in the Boundary Waters (BW) where I worked in the summers of 2003 and 2004 for Outward Bound. I lured them there with stories of the Northern Lights and moose. Once there we drove east to a section of the BW I had never traveled before, which has more of a rocky, contoured landscape. We had a tremendous time paddling, swimming, sleeping in, and playing with BW Barbie. You can tell something about our canoeing pace by the fact that we did not keep track of our mileage or portage distance on this trip.

The travel log was written by a different person each day, and I have compiled these writings with pictures from Angie, Josh and Marci.
